Our Services

Counseling focuses a great deal on emotions and how we got to where we’re at.  We may dig deep into your past, your experiences, your behaviors, coping skills, or your thought patterns to explore the driving force of the problems you face.  We will work extensively if needed to unlearn skills you’ve developed that are now maladaptive and are no longer serving you well.  Counseling can be a lengthy, slow process, or your counseling experience may be relatively brief.  We may only need to work on managing stressors and challenges related to a recent change in life, to work through some big decision that you need to make, or to work on goal setting.  What you need and how long it takes to acquire is all up to you.

Some approaches you may experience while in counseling include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Somatic Therapy.

Counseling from the comfort of your own home.  Telehealth services allow for greater access to mental health counseling across the state of Ohio.  You no longer have to worry about finding the right provider in your area, worry about being uncomfortable in an office space, or have to worry about transportation.  Telehealth services are available for anyone physically located in the state of Ohio.

outdoor Walk-and-talk therapy

Do you enjoy being outside?  Outdoor walk-and-talk therapy is a great option to help you feel more comfortable opening up by incorporating movement and getting out of the office space.  Outdoor therapy gives you the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, get fresh air and sunshine, to use nature for grounding and mindfulness exercises, and to incorporate play.
