Yes, please refer to the Fees page to see if your insurance is accepted in network.  A superbly may be provide upon request for commercial insurances not accepted.  Aligned Counseling & Wellness Services is focused on you and your needs.  Please keep in mind the benefits of not using insurance.  Insurance companies require individuals to have a diagnosis in order for services to be covered, something that remains on your medical record.  Insurance also puts limits on the number of sessions and the type of sessions they will cover, which can severely limit your therapeutic needs.  Lastly, billing insurance means that you lose some aspects of your confidentiality and control over your health care needs.

The initial evaluation rate is  $150.  Costs of individual sessions vary based on time.  Payment is due at time of service.

Cancellations are accepted but must be 24 hours in advance.  Late cancellations or no shows are subjected to a charge of $50.

The initial session will review your intake paperwork and build upon this to fully gather your history, problems, and needs.  Individual sessions then are tailored to meet those needs in a way that serves you best.  Overall, your sessions depend on you.  Remember, you have control over your needs, what occurs within your sessions, and how long you remain in therapy.  

Yes, with a few exceptions.  If there is any risk to hurting yourself, hurting others, or suspected child abuse or neglect, these will be reported to the appropriate persons without your consent.  There is no guarantee that what you say in session will not be overheard if you utilize walk-and-talk therapy.  If you have someone that you would like information shared with, we will make sure a release of information is filled out.  All other information is kept strictly confidential.

Outdoor or walk-and-talk therapy is just what it sounds like.  Sessions will take place outdoors or in other public areas.  Your confidentiality therefore cannot be guaranteed.  You will be provided with a consent form to sign acknowledging the risks and benefits of walk-and-talk therapy.

Of course!  Yoga is not about being flexible.  There is a saying that yoga is for everyBODY.  The practice of yoga is not strictly a physical exercise, but rather a practice to develop awareness and connection of the mind, the body, and the breath.
